In a 1982 interview with David Letterman,  Bob Weir (guitarist/vocalist for the Grateful Dead) described the Acid Tests of the 1960s as being “more fun than a frog in a glass of milk”. The saying became a popular phrase amongst fans of the band, known as deadheads.
